It is no secret that I'm a total cat enthusiast. I've been a cat enthusiast for years, and my students can vouch for it. As an acting coach, I proudly express my love for cats during our introduction exercises. They have been a part of my life for the past 27 years.
As a child, I feared cats. Our cat Oreo would chase me, leading me to assume the worst. I avoided him. Eventually, my sister introduced a snow white cat named Phillipe. Expecting the worst, I timidly greeted him. To my surprise, Phillipe meowed back in a friendly tone. When I asked him a question, I received a warm meow. Excitedly, I shared with my parents, "I can talk to cats." Sweet Phillipe captured my heart, and my love for cats blossomed.
I have extensive experience caring for kittens to senior cats, including medication administration. Additionally, I worked for a pet sitting company , which helped me gain a wealth of knowledge.
I understand the paranoia a cat parent feels leaving their fur baby to someone else to take care of them. That's why I created a specialized, transparent service focused on cats. I simply wanted to give cat parents peace of mind.

Meet Our Namesake!
Simple Cat, a.k.a. the Queen of Cuteness, was born to a feral cat at The Cat House on the Kings, a charming cat sanctuary in Fresno, California. As a tiny kitten, she was bottle-fed by her caretakers until she was old enough to eat on her own. When she was a year old, George's future partner, Aimee, adopted her and took her to her loving home.
In 2007, Aimee made a trip to sunny Florida, and of course, Simple Cat accompanied her. The two had an amazing time exploring the beaches and enjoying the warm weather. However, on the day they were scheduled to return to California, disaster struck: Simple Cat ran away! Aimee searched high and low for her beloved companion but ultimately had no choice but to return home without her precious feline.
Heartbroken yet hopeful, Aimee continued her search through online postings. Miraculously, a week later she received a call that Simple was discovered safe and sound! Arrangements were made to fly Simple back home in a comfortable airplane ride across the country.
A year later, Aimee decided to move to Florida with Simple Cat. It was in their new home state where Simple met the doting George Hawkins who was instantly smitten by her undeniable cuteness.
Now at 17 years old (equivalent to 84 human years), Simple still leads an active life filled with adventure. She has visited places all over the country, including Los Angeles and New York City! She even had a cameo in an award-nominated short film, "The Exchangeables," which screened at WJCT Studios during the prestigious Jacksonville 48 Hour Film Project.
Despite her age and achievements, Simple’s not one to be pushed around by others. In fact, if another cat gets on her nerves, she's been known to assert her dominance by um… “making it rain” on their belongings, to put it delicately. She may be Simple, but she's not basic.
